Book III: The Destiny

The Destiny is the story of a collision of two very different people, with two very different life perspectives.  The result is the destruction of family and home, when a mother kidnaps her son, and tries to sever ties with a determined and devoted father who never ceases his search for his beloved son.

THE DESTINY is the third and final book in Jerena Tobiasen’s The Prophecy, an epic historical saga set in the post WW2 years which follows Mina Kota’s daughter, Miriam, as she struggles to bring up her child and make ends meet in a difficult world. The book pulls no punches with a climactic ending that marks a great ending to the hard to put down trilogy.’

The Destiny is a twisty tale that is emotionally rich with sophisticated characters. The post-war setting is intelligently depicted and I loved how the author writes the backgrounds of the characters, which makes the reader feel as though they are interacting with real people. The writing is strong and the descriptions are arresting. The story is suspenseful with hints of mystery.

The Destiny 5-star review

Christian Sia, Readers’ Favorite 5-Star Review

The Destiny brings together the Lange and Kota families, introducing the reader to a new generation of colourful characters. When Hart Lange (with his legacy of The Crest) meets Miriam Kota (whose legacy is born in The Emerald), sparks fly – in more ways than one! What Hart first thinks is a marriage made in heaven soon turns into hell’s hopeless despair when Miriam disappears, taking his young son with her. To fulfill The Destiny, Hart must find his son, and the woman with the chocolate brown eyes.
